Description
This wine combines approximately 98% Tempranillo (Tinta Fina) with traces of Albillo Mayor and Garnacha Tinta from old vines and high altitude vineyards. The harvest is carried out manually between the end of September and mid-October, followed by fermentation and gentle maceration at 18°C for two weeks in 15,000kg vats. After malolactic fermentation in stainless steel tanks, the wine matures for 12 months in oak containers of different formats, from 225L barrels to 600L bocoyes and large-capacity vats. Finally, it rests in the bottle before being released to the market.
With an alcohol content of 15% vol., Bardos Viñedos de Altura 2022 reflects the extreme climate, altitude and character of the Soria terroir with elegance; a wine that transmits the identity of an extreme area of Ribera del Duero through artisanal and respectful production.
