Description
We began the agricultural year with a water deficit from the previous season. Autumn passed with mild temperatures and little precipitation. We began the year 2022 with higher temperatures than normal, until mid-January the sudden drop in night temperatures did not arrive, producing severe frosts and sunny middays. This situation lasted until the end of February. Between January and February the rains were very scarce (less than 20 liters).
March said goodbye with instability, cool weather and some rains that mitigated the drought that the countryside was suffering. Spring began with a drop in temperatures, finally causing sprouting to be delayed and allowing us to avoid the spring frost period. In mid-May there was a heat wave with temperatures of up to 30ºC, making it one of the driest May months in the last decade. June and July were characterized by intense heat waves, without rain, becoming the warmest months since records began. The harvest began at the beginning of September.
