This month, the club is betting on one of the most recognized and prestigious Scottish single malts in the world: an elegant, complex and perfectly balanced whiskey, with notes of honey, ripe fruit, vanilla and spices.
Glenfiddich 15 Years is made in the historic Glenfiddich family distillery, located in Dufftown, in the heart of the Scottish region of Speyside. To create this expression, the whiskey matures in a combination of European oak, American oak and new barrels, before going through the exclusive Solera Vat process developed by the distillery itself.
This system consists of gathering whiskeys from different barrels in a large oak vat that is never completely emptied, allowing each new production to be integrated with a small part of the previous ones. The result is a single malt of great consistency and depth, with an intense golden color, a rich and enveloping nose with aromas of honey, raisins, ripe fruit and vanilla, and a silky and balanced palate in which notes of cinnamon, ginger, oak and sweet spices appear. Its finish is long, warm and delicately spicy.
