Fruity, precise and finely iodized nose. Aromas of cherry and lemon mix with quince and bergamot. Secondly, notes of hazelnut, almond, mirabelle plum and peach complete this aromatic palette.
In the mouth it opens with a fine and intense effervescence, followed by a beautiful vinosity and balanced by a delicate acidity. Its very fine texture and saline finish give it great length in the mouth accompanied by complex flavors of orchard fruits and citrus. An airy wine that little by little unfolds and then shows all its potential and intensity.

La Grande Année 2015 is a blend of 19 wines mainly from Aÿ and Verzenay with 61% Pinot Noir and from Chouilly and Oiry with 39% Chardonnay.
Fermentation takes place entirely in oak barrels, and maturation occurs under cork stoppers, with an aging period in the cellar more than double the regulations of the Designation of Origin. The moderate dosage is 8 grams per liter.
La Grande Année embodies an exceptional and timeless champagne thanks to the artisanal expertise employed in its production. One of these unique techniques, oak aging, takes place in old oak barrels with an average age of 20 years. This fosters the development of exquisitely delicate aromas and, through micro-oxygenation, gives the wine extraordinary aging potential.
