Varela Hermanos is a 100% Panamanian company that has been dedicated to the production, distribution and wholesale of liquor, bulk rum, and denatured alcohol for more than 110 years. We are the proud national producers of 90% of the liquors consumed by the country, we produce Panama's national drink, Seco Herrerano, and the world-renownedRon Abuelo.

Ron Abuelo is self-produced, that is, 100% local. The manual harvesting of sugar cane and the reuse of plant waste for the distillation process make our rum high quality and sustainable.
