Description
A demanding and challenging vintage due to long periods of drought and high summer temperatures. The wine year began with a lack of rainfall. Despite having a rainier March than usual, the first quarter of 2022 recorded a water deficit. Spring was unstable, alternating hot and cold days. After an early start to summer, the mercury reached its highest levels in July, with heat waves that exceeded 40ºC and tropical nights.
This situation led to vegetative stops due to lack of water in some vineyards, the advance of the harvest to September 1 and lower general yields.
The harvest was optimal due to the absence of humidity, with very healthy grapes with excellent concentration.
Magnificent aromatic expression, with overflowing fruit, at just the right ripeness, and balsamic notes. Enveloping tannin and precise texture complete an incisive and deep wine.
