Nose
On the nose it is very powerful and complex, highlighting the ripeness of the grape with aromas of black fruit, cocoa, toasted wood and spicy tones (cinnamon, nutmeg, black pepper and some vanilla).
Palate
On the palate it is smooth and sweet, very fruity, with sensations of black fruit, fine toasted notes and aromatic woods, with a very long and complex finish.

Description
Viña Sastre Crianza 2022 is an exceptional red wine made in the prestigious Ribera del Duero Designation of Origin, from grapes 100% Tinta del País (Tempranillo)from vineyards between 30 and 60 years old, cultivated organically at altitude.
The 2022 vintage offers a mature, balanced and powerful expression of the variety, the result of aging for 14 months in French and American oak barrels, which provides complexity without hiding the fruit.
On the nose, the aromas of ripe black fruit, sweet spices, fine toast and a balsamic background characteristic of the house stand out. In the mouth it has a medium-high body, polished tannins and a well-integrated acidity that gives it freshness and elegance. Its finish is long, tasty and with mineral memories that reflect the terroir of La Horra, in Burgos.
