Overlooking a natural terrace over the Miño River, Bodegas Viña Nora is located in the municipality of As Neves, within the Condado do Tea wine region and on the border with Portugal. The winery building is surrounded by the typical arbors of the Albariño variety, which descend down the slope towards the river, facing the midday sun.

The winery is equipped with the best technology for the production of white wines and is at the service of Viña Nora's fundamental objective, which is to produce wines faithful to the land and the Albariño variety. The winery has small containers that allow microvinification and monitoring of each of the plots separately.

The harvest at Viña Nora is always done by hand in 16 kg boxes and the grapes, after cooling in a cold room at 4 degrees, enter the winery on selection tables. All pressing, settling and fermentation processes are carried out very carefully to respect the subtlety of aromas and the fragility of the Albariño variety.

Precisely with the aim of preserving all the characteristics of the Albariño, only neutral yeasts are used, resulting in deeply varietal wines capable of expressing all the peculiarities of a unique area within Rias Baixas due to its climatic and soil characteristics.

The selection of grapes and the care in production reaches its maximum expression with Nora da Neve, the barrel-fermented Albariño, which is made in the winery, with grapes from old vineyards. The fermentation of Nora da Neve is carried out using the Burgundian method using 600 and 225 liter French oak barrels with subtle toasting and batonage for 5 months that provides complexity and power without altering the subtlety of the variety.
