Intense aromas of red fruit (cherries, raspberries) accompanied by notes of licorice and spicy wood
In the mouth it is full, velvety, with a fresh acidity that balances the ripeness of the fruit, and a finish that lengthens, leaving a creamy memory of integrated wood and persistent fruit.
The Bassus Pinot Noir 2022 is born in the Hispano+Suizas winery from Pinot Noir vines grown in calcareous-clay soils at about 700 m altitude under a Mediterranean-continental climate.
After a carefully carried out harvest and a winemaking treatment that includes cold maceration and controlled fermentation, the wine rests for approximately 10 months in new French oak barrels from Allier.
