Created by the innovative Compass Box distillery, this whisky stands out for its focus on maturation in casks with new toasted French oak staves, a rare technique in Scotland that imparts a unique spicy depth.
Inspired by the great wines of Bordeaux and the aromatic potential of oak, Spice Tree blends Highland malts—primarily from the Clynelish region—to achieve a sophisticated and warm profile, dominated by the influence of oak, without the use of colorants or chill filtration. The final blend results in a well-rounded, complex, and balanced whisky that celebrates sweet spice, structure, and elegance.
